One last Christmas at The Plaza.🎄

For more than a century, The Plaza Hotel has been one of New York City's most iconic landmarks, a symbol of timeless luxury, unforgettable celebrations, and the magic of Christmas in Manhattan.

But this holiday season will be different.

The legendary hotel has announced that it will close its doors in January 2027 for an extensive restoration of its historic façade, a project expected to take at least four years.

Opened in 1907 and immortalized in films such as Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, The Plaza has become inseparable from the city's holiday traditions.

With no confirmed reopening date before 2031, Christmas 2026 will mark the final festive season at The Plaza for years to come.

Not goodbye forever. Just goodbye for now.
