So proud of our boys who competed at the Queensland Jiu Jitsu State Championship last weekend!
Luca fought hard and came away with silver in gi and gold in no-gi…he was so close to double gold!
Alessio had some tough matches with his mate Kyzer and earned double silver. Love watching those two go at it.
And Joao…wow…honestly, we weren’t even sure about registering him so we just went with no-gi. He’s barely trained, it was his first comp back since fracturing his knee, and he was bumped up an age group. He was so nervous and we were just proud he stepped on the mat.
Then he shocks us all with a 15-second sub and takes silver. Said he nearly cried he was in that much shock. Massive respect to all their teammates and competitors. You should all be proud 🖤💛
