3 years with Kerehi - our miracle boy. This was a song people sung over him as they prayed for his beautiful life. We will always be grateful for our friends, family and those we don’t know who prayed relentlessly 🙏🏽

This little guy is so full of life, you would never know how his journey started.

When things got rough and I started sharing our fertility struggles in real time, I never expected it to build a community like this. I never expected to reach so many of you or to feel so supported. Somewhere along the way it gave me a sense of purpose and I promised I’d keep going. If there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that I always keep my word. I recently saw a video of the philosopher Alain de Botton describing how friendships form: you share your suffering and hold hands through the valley of darkness. One of you says “it’s sht, isn’t it?” and the other says “yeah, it’s really sht - but we like each other and we’re going to support each other.” That’s exactly what this has been. By sharing my suffering, I’ve connected with so many women who, like me, never saw IVF on their timeline. And oh my goodness, I have never been so grateful for science - because on Tuesday 28th, seven days after our embryo transfer, we got the positive test we never thought we’d see 🥹 There are no words for how happy we are and we’re still in a bit of disbelief. Some will disagree with sharing this so early, but for us it’s made it feel real - and how lucky are we to get to celebrate with all of you? This process has completely shifted my perspective. IVF is a privilege and I wish it were available to so many more people. Scientists, doctors, nurses, embryologists - they dedicate their lives to helping people build families. HOW COOL ARE THEY. Thank you for every prayer and manifestation (they worked). And to anyone in the thick of it right now, I hope this brings you a whole lot of hope 🤍
Happy Sunday to you all! I hope you had a wonderful Halloween yesterday. My daughter got to go trick or treating with baby Theo and he is doing very well 🙌 I got to go to church this morning and shamefully I haven’t been as much as I would like to but it starts my Sundays off perfectly. Talked a lot about prayer. I know there are plenty of people that you may not know personally that are asking for prayer but I hope you choose to prayer for them anyways. There is something beautiful about people who may never meet in person still taking time to pray for one another. If someone is on your heart today, please lift them up. You never know how much comfort a simple prayer can bring. Thank you for being part of a community that cares! I also want to wish my son in law, Brandon a happy birthday!
