Donkey is one of the most beloved characters in DreamWorksโ€™ Shrek franchise, voiced by Eddie Murphy. Introduced in the original 2001 film, Donkey is a relentlessly talkative, energetic, and loyal companion who befriends Shrek despite the ogreโ€™s attempts to get rid of him. One surprising fact is that Donkey falls in love with a dragon, and they eventually have six hybrid children called Dronkeys, combining donkey and dragon features.
