At least we got the weekend off…
It was strange — almost peaceful — to have a weekend to ourselves. To sit in the sun, slow down, and feel like part of society again. Something we usually miss, buried in prep for markets.
But the reason why? Brutal.
A freezer failure wiped out all our stock — thousands of dollars gone, just like that. Along with all the early mornings, late nights, and prep we put in for our biggest month yet.
We’re heartbroken. But we’re not giving up. Because no great business story ever started with “everything went to plan.”
This is just another plot point in our origin story — and we’ll come back stronger.
