After a lot of thought (and a few too many 3am cookie shifts), we’ve made the hard call to hang up the apron for Fat Boy’s Cookies.

A recent freezer failure wiped out a huge amount of our stock, and without the ability to get back into the kitchen at the right times to rebuild, we just couldn’t recover.

This isn’t how we imagined closing this chapter — but what a chapter it’s been. From our first market stall to sending cookies all over the country, we’ve been blown away by the support, laughs, and love from every one of you.

Thank you for being part of this wild, sugar-filled ride. 💛

Who knows… maybe one day, Fat Boy’s will be back. But for now, we’re taking the time to rest, reset, and see what’s next.

At least we got the weekend off…

It was strange — almost peaceful — to have a weekend to ourselves. To sit in the sun, slow down, and feel like part of society again. Something we usually miss, buried in prep for markets.

But the reason why? Brutal.

A freezer failure wiped out all our stock — thousands of dollars gone, just like that. Along with all the early mornings, late nights, and prep we put in for our biggest month yet.

We’re heartbroken. But we’re not giving up. Because no great business story ever started with “everything went to plan.”

This is just another plot point in our origin story — and we’ll come back stronger.

⚠️ Please Read ⚠️

We're devastated to share that due to an unexpected incident at our commercial kitchen, we've lost all of our carefully prepared cookie dough stock from the past month. This means we won't be able to attend our planned markets this weekend, which were expected to be our biggest yet. To say we're gutted is an understatement. But setbacks like this are part of the journey to rest our resolve, and we're determined to bounce back stronger—as small business owners always do.

We're truly sorry to anyone who planned to come out and see us this weekend. Your support means so much to us and we always want to make sure we're delivering you the best fat boys experience.

On the positive—we expect to be back up and running in time for our debut at the Queen Vic Market this coming Tuesday!

Fun Fact - Levain Bakery in NYC set the standard for the now considered NY cookie with their infamous choc chip walnut cookie.

* My cookies brought all the boys to the yard and apparently, my concierge too.. I guess sharing is caring…
* I had a box of @fatboyscookies delivered straight to my door and they weren't lying when they promised thick, chonky and unapologetically indulgent bundles of pure joy.
* These aren’t your average cookies, these are melt-in-your-mouth, eat-before-anyone-else-does kind of cookies.
