HU Staff: Ariela Anรญs @ari.anis Itโ€™s official! The Democrats have not only flipped the House of Representatives, but have also flipped the Senate, seizing control of Congress from the Republicans. ___________________________________________________ According to CBS News, there were 35 Senate seats up for election in the midterms on Tuesday (November 3). And with the help of Americans across the nation, Democrats picked up four seats needed to gain control of the Senate. There were three major upsets in Texas, South Carolina and Kansas, plus additional seats in Ohio and North Carolina. Democrats also held onto seats in Georgia and New Hampshire.ย  ___________________________________________________ According to a map from The Associated Press, Democrats secured at least 51 seats by 11:46 p.m. EST. The Republicans held 39, with the tallies still being counted. Despite the remaining votes to be reviewed, Congress will become BLUE in 2027. ___________________________________________________ Click the link in bioย for full story ๐Ÿ“ธ NBC News
Easy dinner idea Made a one-pan lemon garlic roast chicken with potatoes and carrots for dinner, along with a big pot of my favorite Lebanese lentil soup For the chicken, I stuffed the cavity with fresh rosemary, thyme, parsley, garlic, lemon, and onion. Then I rubbed the chicken with olive oil, @traegergrills seasoning, salt, pepper, and fresh lemon and orange zest. Added potatoes and carrots around it and roasted everything until the chicken was golden, juicy, and cooked through (roast at 375ยฐF for about 1ยฝโ€“2 hours, depending on the size of your chicken, until the internal temperature reaches 165ยฐF). On the side I made lentil soup which is always on repeat this time of year. Itโ€™s cozy, healthy, and packed with protein and fiber. Comment SOUP and Iโ€™ll send you the recipe or copy paste this link: https://themomnutritionist.com/lebanese-lentil-soup-recipe-easy-shorbet-adas/ #healthydinner #dinnerrecipes #roastchicken #dinner #easydinnerideas
