First arch delivered~ maxillary immediate complete denture
1. Patient's new smile! He is so happy with how this turned out :') He's the sweetest patient too and really reminded me of how fulfilling dentistry can be. I'm also so happy with how well the retention turned out! Forgot to take a before photo though and pls excuse the phone pics not dslr :(
2-6. Mounted casts. Pt was missing several teeth and had severely broken teeth on top. 6 and 11 were endo treated (thank you Dr. Needle) and left as amalgam domes, everything else was extracted.
7-11. The denture!! Casts were scanned and teeth digitally removed, and denture was 3D printed. I didn't have to set any teeth (thank you Dr. Jayanetti)!
12-14. Surgical stent. It was tried in during extraction appt but patient might still need alveoplasty... we'll see
Plan is to wait a few months for healing, make a definitive maxillary complete denture, and remake his lower RPD! We will be crowning all mandibular anteriors as well because patient really wants to improve the esthetics without orthodontic treatment.
