My dad bought me a sewing machine when I was 8 bc he saw me hand sewing a bunch of stuff and I got rly into it in middle and high school but I haven't touched it recently other than to hem things. These r all screenshots ripped off my finsta from 2017/2018 so please excuse the quality and random emoji stickers LOL 1-2. Skirts I made FROM SCRATCH for my group for a dance show... bought fabric from Joann's and glued on sequins one by one for 7 skirts it took SO LONG but they turned out so pretty! (Ignore my foot in the vid pls) 3-4. Grandma gave me a pj set that i wasn't going to wear so I changed it into a off the shoulder dress/shorts combo! V happy w how this one turned out 5-6. This was my high school grad dress that I altered bc the original dress was sooo unflattering. The top didnt turn out the best but whatever 7-8. Remember when these jackets were trending LOL anyway I took in the waist so it wasn't so shapeless and bulky 9-10. I delivered my first 3 crowns this past october LOL 😭 How have I made it this far without doing a single crown i have no idea either but here they r even tho I'm missing before and prep photos for almost all of them teehee! Overall want to improve on my shade matching, speed, and ergonomics. It's so hard to see on second molars I feel like I'm drilling blind even if I contort myself into crazy positions </3 1-3. First case! #3 monoz, A2. This delivery appt took me THREE WHOLE HRS bc first the interproximal would not sit and then it was still super high occlusally but we got it done eventually 💀 Tooth cracked after a composite so we did a crown and pt is no longer in pain (slay) 4-7. Second case, #18 monoz and core buildup on endo tx tooth, A1. Margins were too supragingival, esp the buccal and pt is very esthetic conscious, but good thing it's all the way in the back lmao. There was also a lil j margin on the mesiolingual that I didnt notice until after :( but we live and we learn i guess? Pt had been experiencing discomfort even after RCT but thankfully it went away after crown delivery~ 8-9. #13 monoz and core buildup, A3. These r my pride and joy!! I peaked w this set inspired by the icon the legend @vivxue and the craziest thing is this was relatively fast for me too?? In honor of anxiously waiting to hear back from ortho programs, here's a cute wire bending project from back in 2018 inspired by @bts.bighitofficial 's Love Yourself Her album! This flower design was sooo pretty I just had to recreate it. I also bought thinner light blue and pink wire bc I wanted to do another outline in color but I never got around to it lmao. My (mannequin) endo portfolio!! Yes i exclusively do maxillary molars and not a single one had MB2. Now selling my extra teeth hehe hmu 🤩 I am so serious when I say I'd rather do an RCT than a class II lmfao. Happy to see my improvement (case # in corner) + mesiodistal and buccolingual radiographs for each. All cases rotary niti vortex blue/lateral condensation. Tldr moral is never rush endo! 1-2. First case in endo clinic ever wooo tb to when I cared enough to drill grooves in the roots 😭 Coronal taper of DB canal and access a lil funky but she's fine. 3 appts. (Disclaimer: 2nd case not included bc that was the one and only time I have ever transported in the past 2 years bc I was rushing so we don't talk abt her... did first 2 canals in 2 appts and last one on a new tooth for remediation in a 3rd appt) 3-4. 3rd case! She was SO decayed sealer leaked out the sides of the crown oops. Access and coronal taper of DB (?) lil wonky again + not my most solid obturation and pulp chamber is soo messy BUT I finished her in 2 appts I was so proud 5-6. 4th case and one of my faves. Tip of MB canal fractured off but I used this tooth anyway and it worked out fine. Clean, mostly solid, and look at that shaping even w the curvature of the canals mwah so slay. 2 appts too 😌😌 7-8. 5th case and another one of my faves. Ignore the gouge on the distal access wall teehee but bruh that shaping and obturation prob some of my best work. I apologize to my mannequin for any sensitivity that may be caused by the sealer puff. 2 appts! 9-10. 6th case aka my capstone but sadly not my fave... obturation and shaping so fire but I was rushing again and I accidentally overinstrumented the DB SO MUCH lmao (why is that always my problem canal) my master cone was like 70 and I extruded a teensy bit 🥲 Dr. P also modified my access to be way bigger it scared me lol that poor tooth has no structure left </3 anyway overall she's clean and i finished in 2 appts and never have to do this again yay! - #dentalschool #dentalstudent #dentistry #dentist #dentallife #dental #dentaltreatment #rootcanal #endo #endodontics #endodontist #rootcanaltreatment #rootcanaltherapy #predental #dentistryworld taken in UCLA School of Dentistry by @toothluvrding

2020 father's day gift! Swipe for details + bonus art + reference photo I tried a diff technique on this to save time compared to my usual realism (line art and rough shading)... did it work? First arch delivered~ maxillary immediate complete denture 1. Patient's new smile! He is so happy with how this turned out :') He's the sweetest patient too and really reminded me of how fulfilling dentistry can be. I'm also so happy with how well the retention turned out! Forgot to take a before photo though and pls excuse the phone pics not dslr :( 2-6. Mounted casts. Pt was missing several teeth and had severely broken teeth on top. 6 and 11 were endo treated (thank you Dr. Needle) and left as amalgam domes, everything else was extracted. 7-11. The denture!! Casts were scanned and teeth digitally removed, and denture was 3D printed. I didn't have to set any teeth (thank you Dr. Jayanetti)! 12-14. Surgical stent. It was tried in during extraction appt but patient might still need alveoplasty... we'll see Plan is to wait a few months for healing, make a definitive maxillary complete denture, and remake his lower RPD!
