Such a special evening in the heart of Antwerp. I had the honour of moderating a book talk for Others Like me, drom author @bynicolelouie at @degroenewaterman
Over 30 guests gathered in the bookstore’s stunning 16th-century cellar, a space that felt both intimate and sacred.
Nicole’s storytelling held the room throughout. Her book shares the voices of women without children; by circumstance, by choice, and everything in between.
Stories often left unspoken, yet full of wisdom, depth, and truth. The sense of recognition and connection in the room was deeply moving.
I’m so grateful to Nicole for inviting me to be part of this conversation, to the warm and thoughtful team at the bookstore and to everyone who showed up with open hearts. These shared spaces of reflection and belonging are at the heart of my work.
