My mum states that bc my dad died last December, she can’t change his will that he wrote in 2011, bc it’s what he wanted. In this will my little brother gets everything while the older three get nothing. This is bc our circumstances were very different to how they are now and my parents have seemed to have forgotten that I was instrumental in building their house. I did the plastering, painting, tiling, helped with the roofing, plumbing and extensive gardening. How would this work legally if I was to contest?

Only poor people have wills. The rich put everything into trusts.

So a will is as useless as the paper it's written on. Why so damn expensive if it's an irrelevant document to a judge???

I would not be taking Will advice from the ABC.

What’s the point of a will if it’s going to be ignored?

Transfer all assets to who you want it to go to before you pass … trust is a big factor … however the people who contest wills are true ones the deceased didn’t trust , … leave nothing for Lawyers / public trust to get their hands on

Interesting how so many manipulative and controlling people use their will to control and manipulate from beyond the grave.

What you write in your will should be uncontestable.

So it begs the question why would anyone leave a will if they cannot leave their estate to whom they want to bequeath it to. It has become an absolute joke.
