Coming into camp I hadn’t open my bible in little under a year. I was living a life I knew I shouldn’t and had so much guilt about it. Larry talked about things we need/want to exit us to become better and made me reflect hard about the life i wasnt living for Christ.

-“ Every sinful thought/desire has the base idea of that “This is better than what God has for me.”

I felt as though my real problems were too real for Gods truth when it wasn’t. Being able to help lead worship and connect with people on fire for God made the void I had in my heart full.

“Dear friends, you always followed my instructions when I was with you. And now that I am away, it is even more important. Work hard to show the results of your salvation, obeying God with deep reverence and fear. For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.”

Coming out of camp I have a realization that I was pulled away from God to see how much I really needed him.
