As someone who has grown up within the metal community, it was all thanks to this man. This man defied almost every odd against him at such a young age. No one thought he was going to make it this far and not only did he defy those odds, he exceeded everyone’s expectations. We are losing the pioneers and it breaks my heart. There will never be another Ozzy. His death feels very personal to me because my dad also died from Parkinson’s. So I know how much that disease destroys a person, I witnessed it for years. And my dad was the man that raised me on Ozzy’s music. Thank you Ozzy for everything that you’ve indirectly done for me through your music. Prince of Darkness and THE GODFATHER OF METAL, you were no ordinary man. We’ll see you on the other side.🦇 🖤
