Giving my neighbors a heads upšŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø
(I’ll write them a notice/letteršŸ¤“)
I Most likely will be turning my room at home into a ā€œstudioā€
No luck on storage units,
(although it’s been done before🤔)
So any suggestions to help deaden the sound of my room so my neighbors don’t hate me, would greatly be appreciated!šŸ™Œ
.
Anyway,
Here’s me just foolin on a bigger kit of mine today for the first time in what seams like forever, CLEARLY needing to practice…but honestly, I don’t care how shitty I think I sound on camera anymore, it’ll just make me want to be betteršŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø
.
So here’s to #improvement āœŒļøā¤ļøšŸ¤˜

I use Evan’s DBzero heads. It’s closer to real feel than electric drumset. It is in no way a direct replacement to true acoustic feel/sound. But they also have triggers that I have played with live. It was better than sitting in a plexiglass drum cage.

I use audimute sound absorption sheets on the walls and the sound barrier sheets for doors and windows and they seem to work fairly well
