this is actually crazy. who knew (someone who hated social media) would now be asked to post content. by Jesus. hello.
this video is also super raw and real. i never want to show up on this app and post something that doesn’t feel genuine. Jesus is the most amazing man i know, and i don’t want to “put on a show” for what He is doing in the life He has given me.
that’s why social media has been hard for me.
but hey, my name is Jilly! and i would love if you joined me on this journey.
i still have no idea what He wants me to post, but i am just taking it day by day.

even before making this video i felt the need to get up and put makeup on, do my hair, and sit in nice lighting. those things aren’t bad, but the Lord is teaching me that some of that comes from a deep rooted fear of judgement from others. ultimately i want to please him. so bye bye judgement and bye bye pride
