Insane how close grief lies next to nostalgia. People we want can feel so far away, unattainable or just barely out of reach... Craving the joy of the past, and the permanence we subconsciously swore it would have. These feelings can come from the inanimate and the living alike... It's beautiful. It's unsettling. It's life. 🪷
