Our opinions and belief systems are rooted in our personal core values.

To grow, we can attempt to control our thoughts. Every thought carries value and can disrupt or empower us.

My values are clearly defined if you know me well, and I almost always adjust my mindset appropriately, which shapes who I am.

I value God and justice under God. His mercy and grace shield us while His convictions will confirm us.

I value prayer/ affirmation/ mantra and devotionals. Being raised poor in a broken system with a single mom led me through trial and tribulation that, at the very least, without prayer, I would have had no greater observation or mindfulness in a world trapped in scarcity.

I value faith, hope, family, community, and a greater understanding of privilege. This is rooted in diversity, equity, and inclusiveness. Without education of how communities are stronger together, I would have never made it through high school. I had educators, counselors, aunts, and a white mother who emboldened me with what resources they had available to them. My greater understanding is that many have a morsel of resources available to them, few have a lineage of empowerment, and the elite wealthy have Godly abundance that in red print is promised to all.
