One person has died and others were injured after an incident on a rollercoaster at an amusement park in the US state of Georgia. The Cobb County Police Department is investigating Monday's death at Six Flags Over Georgia, about 15 miles (24km) from Atlanta. Horrified witnesses have told local media they saw a man ejected from the ride and police say preliminary information indicates this was the case. If you knew my brother, you knew he almost never wore shoes, drew flames on everything, was always building a sword or a guitar, and was really freaking good at martial arts. But most of all, he was the most loyal brother. Through everything he struggled with, he showed up every time I asked and even when I didn’t. I’m going to miss this wild man so much. I’ll miss singing with you, I will miss your giant infectious smile, your catch phrases and hearing about all your insane ideas. Thank you for showing up for me, for making my life weirder and louder, and for giving me so many stories I’ll tell for the rest of my life. I just wish we had more time to make a few more. Im sorry we never caught that alligator. Give dad the biggest hug for me. I love you, Deano. 🖤 RIP

8 years of being married to my bestest friend in the whole wide world. 🥰 Jacob and I met in high school via mutual friends, were good friends for a while, and started dating the July after graduation. We’re very different people than we were at 18–we’ve quite literally grown up together!—but I’m so thankful that we happened to grow and mature into someone the other person still both liked and loved (which we now recognize is the main reason “high school sweethearts” are pretty rare). We helped each other grow into much better versions of ourselves and couldn’t be more grateful for that. 🧡 Since then we’ve had different jobs, lived in a loft in downtown Kansas City, lived the nomad life for 3 months in an RV, tried & failed at being travel couple influencers (😂), bought our first home, completed our goal of visiting all 50 states before turning 30 (which we started separately and just happened to finish with the same state!), celebrated 13 years of dating, adopted a kitten, and spent many a day doing absolutely nothing together. 🤭 Happy 8 years, my love. Here’s to as many more as this cherished life will give us. 🫶🏻
