Weekend wrap - yeah just getting around to this after one of the busiest weeks of my life.

Last Friday to Sunday was Cafe Annand's 4th Canyon Vibration and this year we had an all-new (except for me) Portland-based crew of Audrey Ann Batman, Kevin P Davis, and Paj Ananke.. Big thank you to all for being chill hard workers and getting this Cafe done!

We were busy as always, and I must have made close to 100 House Monkey Espresso Smoothies. My other duties included making fruit smoothies and iced matcha lattes, and warming the curry bowls I had made at home.

It was exhausting! I slept 10 hours total between prep night and the 2 nights there.

But as always, I felt much love and appreciation from the lovely crowd that looks forward to this event all year!

I worked so much I mainly caught the music from my work station, and tent on the way to naps. Sounded great tho!

Thanks to Peter Marks, Leeonn,, Robin Ewing, and the rest of the Canyon Vibration team for another sensational and deeply satisfying event!

I did not do great at getting pictures this time - but if you zoom in you can see our little Cafe under the awning of the barn so nicely lit up by David Katz :)

மாண்புமிகு முதலமைச்சர் அவர்களின் அறிவுறுத்தலின் பேரில்... திருநெல்வேலி மாவட்டம், அம்பாசமுத்திரம் வட்டம், களக்காடு முண்டந்துறை பகுதியில் உள்ள காணி பழங்குடி மக்களுடன் நேற்று ஒரு இரவு தங்கி அவர்களுடைய வாழ்வியல் முறைகளை அறிந்து கொண்டு, அவர்களுக்கு வழங்க வேண்டிய மருத்துவம் சார்ந்த சேவைகள் குறித்தும் அறிந்து கொண்டோம்.

இன்று காலை அம்மக்களுக்கான சிறப்பு மருத்துவ முகாமை தொடங்கி வைத்து, பொதுமக்களுக்கு பரிசோதனைகளை மேற்கொண்டு, அவர்களுக்கான மருத்துவ ஆலோசனைகளை வழங்கினோம்.

இம்மலைவாழ் மக்களின் இயற்கையோடு இணைந்த வாழ்வியல், அவர்கள் பின்பற்றும் இயற்கை மருத்துவம் ஆகியவற்றை எதிர்கால சந்ததியினருக்கு கொண்டு சேர்ப்பது நம் கடமை என்பதை இந்த முகாம் மூலமாக அறிந்து கொண்டோம்.

மேலும் அம்பாசமுத்திரம் வட்டம், மேலணை பாபநாசம் பகுதியில் உள்ள அரசு பழங்குடியினர் உண்டி உறைவிட உயர்நிலைப் பள்ளியை பார்வையிட்டு ஆய்வு செய்தோம். இப்பள்ளியில் பயிலும் மாணவ, மாணவிகளுக்கு கண் கண்ணாடிகள் வழங்கி, மாணவ மாணவிகளின் வாசிக்கும் திறன் குறித்து கேட்டறிந்து, அவர்களுக்கு கல்வியின் முக்கியத்துவம் குறித்து உரையாடினோம்.

இந்த நிகழ்வுகளில் நம்மோடு மருத்துவம் மற்றும் மக்கள் நல்வாழ்வுத்துறை அரசு செயலாளர் டாக்டர் தாரேஸ் அகமது, இ.ஆ.ப., அவர்களும் திருநெல்வேலி மாவட்ட ஆட்சித் தலைவர் திரு. ஆனந்த் மோகன், இ.ஆ.ப., அவர்களும் கலந்து கொண்டனர்.

Ten days on hunger strike. Ten days of putting their bodies and their futures on the line, simply for the right to be heard.

Today, I stood with the students of JNU, a university that has taught generations of young Indians that questioning power is not a crime, but a responsibility.

You can rusticate a student, but how do you rusticate a question? You can barricade a campus, but how do you barricade an idea?

There is a reason those in power fear places like JNU. Because some generations refuse to inherit silence.

To every student fighting for dignity, democracy and justice, your struggle is ours too.

JNU has never learnt to bow. And may it never have to.

A training hall named after two-time Olympic champion and world champion Hasanboy Dusmatov is to be opened in Andijan. The legendary boxer received the certificate for its construction at the IBA Nomad 16 tournament from IBA President Umar Kremlev. This will add another venue where athletes can hone their skills under the guidance of an outstanding athlete.

Внешне мы можем казаться серьезными и взрослыми, но внутри нас живет то, над чем время абсолютно не властно. Наша безуминка, наши искренние эмоции и умение радоваться моменту. Вечно молодые. Вечно свободные !!!!! желаю каждому оставаться всегда молодым, и не смотреть на цифры в паспорте.
