This phrase has been living in my mind rent free because I’ve been stuck at a crossroads for a while. But ultimately it’s just been me in my own way. This phrase has helped remind me that in order to better myself, I need to dissolve often and let go of this character and story that I’ve been holding on to that no longer serves me.
Yesterday marked August’s full moon; The Sturgeon Moon. This is associated with themes of resilience, inner strength, and ancient wisdom.
It’s also a time to connect with your intuition, reflect on personal growth and release what no longer serves you.
So I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting today and made this art piece as a reminder to not hold on to past identities that limit me or no longer serve me.
