If you know me, you’ll know this is my favourite meal. But it’s more than just food - it’s a tradition.

If you know my family, you know we love hosting. Nothing brings us more joy than a fish feast. Seafood, yams, and pepper… our origin meal.

Every year, we invite friends and family to indulge in a generous spread of fresh seafood, paired with our homemade sauces. My parents would always make extra food and pepper so everyone could leave with a takeaway.

It’s never just about the food, it’s about coming together and creating moments to share. My upbringing shaped that.

When I shared this video with my mum, she reminded me that at the heart of it all, it’s about loving people - for us, that love has always been served on a plate. ❤️‍🔥
