The meal that started it all for Pepper Pots.

If you know me, you’ll know this is my favourite meal. But it’s more than just food - it’s a tradition.

If you know my family, you know we love hosting. Nothing brings us more joy than a fish feast. Seafood, yams, and pepper… our origin meal.

Every year, we invite friends and family to indulge in a generous spread of fresh seafood, paired with our homemade sauces. My parents would always make extra food and pepper so everyone could leave with a takeaway.

It’s never just about the food, it’s about coming together and creating moments to share. My upbringing shaped that.

When I shared this video with my mum, she reminded me that at the heart of it all, it’s about loving people - for us, that love has always been served on a plate. ❤️‍🔥

This tilapia recipe is a staple and a crowd favourite on our table. If you want the full recipe comment “Recipe ❤️‍🔥” and we’ll DM it to ya!

Silky eggs, smoked salmon and The Green Meko.
And that’s breakfast.

We saw this egg bagel by @doctorbowl and had to give it a go 😋

Swapped the chilli oil for The Tino Shito and safe to say, this one’s been added to the rotation. Shito really does go with everything.😅❤️‍🔥

POV: your sister comes over for a quick dinner ❤️‍🔥

Food is a shared love language in my family, so a quick dinner is never actually that quick. Somehow we end up making a full menu with a few failed dance routines in between lol.

My friend always says I’m the only person who can make a “quick meal” that involves a blender… she might have a point 😅

On the menu:

* Pan-grilled sea bream with a fresh herb sauce
* Crispy smashed potatoes with whipped feta + The Green Meko
* King prawns with anchovy & garlic butter
* And some greens for our 5 a day, obviously.

The only thing about us is we never remember to write the recipes down… maybe one day we’ll change 🥲 by @mypepperpots
