This morning, the halls of Mason were filled with music, cheers, and pure Comet spirit.
Lumiere: The Simone Isabella Scott Foundation was honored to partner with Shine Like Sable and the Mason Schools Foundation to provide T-shirts for every Mason teacher. It’s our way of saying, “We see you, we appreciate you, and we believe in the difference you make.”
This celebration also carries deep meaning for Lumiere: The Simone Isabella Scott Foundation. Simone, a proud Mason Comet, believed in the power of teachers to inspire and uplift. One of her most powerful reminders, meant to inspire, was: “It gives me hope when I feel hopeless.” Simone never wanted anyone to feel alone and without hope, a helping hand or word of encouragement.
As the school year begins, we hope her words guide us all—to lead with compassion, to encourage those who need it most, and to shine our light in even the smallest of moments.
To all the teachers…Here’s to a year filled with purpose, joy and making a difference—just as Simone did.
