Ewan’s CF Life

Today this absolute warrior made me incredibly proud. Does he look like he has a lung condition? We had a busy day planned and I told him to start easy.
✅ Walked the dog
✅ Ran a parkrun personal best on a hilly course even when we were taking it easy.
✅ Helped out loads at Ollie’s Flyball training.
✅ Ran 2km at Tidal Trails with @eventsofthenorth_ starting and finishing on sand in the heat.
✅ Did a sand sprint run
✅ Completed Families on the Track all on sand with @mrs_p_12x and @sarahrycroft7. He ran his fair share of a 3km relay.
✅ Then he played on the beach running (still) in and out of the sea.

This little guy has not stopped. He has tried super hard in everything. He has put in so much effort and smashed it all!
I am incredibly proud of him and given the fact he has Cystic Fibrosis it makes me even more proud of how he managed the heat and exercise. What Ewan has to do everyday to keep well. What we have to do for him to make sure he stays well. It’s all worth it but it shouldn’t be this hard. He is very lucky he gets the medication he needs to make him this well.
But we need to keep fighting for others too.
We won’t stop till all are living a life unlimited.

Tonight I am going to bed a very proud mammy to my CF Warrior!!! Ewan I love you!
