Seafood Sunday #33 - #2025. Great news. The best local fishmonger in SA, Groomers Seafood, started carrying my All Purpose Seasoning and Doug's Dust much to Rick's surprise 😎 I have been going there for at least 25 years when we had to go in through the loading dock (before the nice retail area) and would regularly see sushi Chefs there. Still do. The APS Rub won a National 1st place in Seafood and Doug's Dust 7th from BBQ News Magazine a few months ago. Go in and grab a bottle or two along with the freshest fish in San Antonio. I had Tuna Saku Blocks this weekend.

Javits Frimpong’s Mother Reportedly Arrives in New York Doris Adu Gyamfi, the mother of 15-year-old Javits Frimpong, has reportedly arrived in New York to be with her family after her son was fatally shot on his way to school in the Bronx. Before leaving Ghana, she thanked those who had prayed for and supported her family. Speaking through a translator, she made one request clear. “I want justice for my son. That’s all.” She also shared that Javits had hoped to become a doctor. Javits moved from Ghana to New York about a year ago to live with his father. He was shot near Crotona Park on October 29 while walking to school. As of Wednesday morning, police had yet to announce an arrest. Pinkwall sends condolences to Javits’s family as they grieve and wait for answers.
