10 months ago a photoshoot was done that changed the trajectory of my mission. Butch.
This photoshoot was done to tell not only my story, but the story of thousands of other young girls from the around the world. Choose femininity or choose being trans, there is no room for a middle ground.
But that wasn’t true.
Tomboys exist. We are women with no desire to be anything else. We are just simply not feminine and that’s more than okay.
Following this photoshoot my message requests were filled with hundreds of messages from people from around the world, stories just like mine. “They said I was trans because I was boyish” “I was 13 and uncomfortable in my skin, so they said it must be gender dysphoria” “I transitioned and realized I was just a tomboy”
Because of this, my team and I have collectively decided to go again. We have a massive project in the works that will be aimed towards tomboys, providing a space to share their similar experiences. Experiences that are all too common in 2025.
