A gesture of respect and solidarity. 💛🦁 The @staderochelais family welcomed us with a guard of honour as we arrived at the stadium. A moment that reminds us rugby is bigger than just the game. 💛 #ForHyron #LionsPride #ForOurCity
I want someone I can tell the small things to. Not the big stuff. The little stuff. The weather. A song that came on. Just to have someone to say it to. Because anyone will listen when things fall apart. The small stuff only goes to someone who stays. And when you find that person, you’ll know. They’ll ask you to start with this morning. Btw, poetry book ‘Between Heaven & Earth’ is out now. It’s a collection of poems about love, heartbreak, loneliness, inner struggles, healing, and the quiet journey of understanding yourself and life along the way. If you’d like to read it, comment “Book” and I’ll send you the link. [poetry, poet, thefallenpoe.t, victorianpoetry, smallstuff, quietlove, someonewhosstays, poetrycommunity]
NO frying, NO shaping deconstructed Korokke! aka my mom’s スコップコロッケ (Scoop Korokke) 🇯🇵 For a lot of Japanese people, korokke is tied to the neighbourhood butcher shop~ (お肉屋さんのコロッケ). Butchers would often fry them fresh in their own lard and sold them for super cheap~ And there are sooo many other types of korokkes too like kani cream korokke (cream and crab), kabocha no korokke (pumpkin korokke), curry korokke and so many other variations, so you can add whatever your heart desires. It’s also a classic item in bentos, or in the konbini hot snack shelf! I personally don’t want to go through the hassle of making it traditionally with the shaping and frying, so I always use my moms recipie that I grew up eating! Ingredients Potatoes 400 g Onion ½ Panko breadcrumbs about 30-40 g (but you can always do more) Ground meat 150g-200g • Salt ½ tsp • Pepper a pinch • Mirin 1 tbsp • Milk 1 tbsp or more (to taste) Olive oil for the pan Hope you enjoy!! . . . #japanesefood #japanesecooking #japaneseculture #japanesecuisine #korokke
