Arriving tomorrow! 👀 We’re so excited to introduce the newest tea in our collection: 𝗛𝗼𝗷𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮. 🍂 With an intoxicatingly sweet aroma and smoky tasting notes of 𝗰𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗲, 𝗰𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗹, our medium roast hojicha from Kagoshima, Japan makes the most delicious hot or iced latte. If hojicha is new to you, it comes from 𝘊𝘢𝘮𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘢 𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘴, the same tea plant used to make matcha. What distinguishes hojicha is the roasting process, in which the tea leaves are roasted at high heat, turning them brown and developing hojicha’s characteristic toasty flavor. Our hojicha is organically grown and combines Yabukita, Saemidori and Yutakamidori cultivars. And like our other offerings, it’s 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗱-𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱. Hojicha contains powerful antioxidants that support overall well-being, as well as L-theanine, an amino acid that promotes a calm, focused state of mind. Because the roasting process lowers the caffeine content, hojicha is the perfect tea to enjoy morning, noon, or night! One of our favorite ways to drink hojicha is as a simple latte: 𝗛𝗼𝗷𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲 🍂☕️🧸 • Whisk 2 tsp hojicha powder with a small amount of warm or hot water until smooth. • Add milk of choice. We especially love soy, almond or hazelnut milk! • Sweeten if desired with maple syrup, honey or vanilla bean, and finish with a dash of cinnamon or a pinch of sea salt if you like. • Serve hot or over ice. Welcome to the Farūne family, Hojicha. 🤎 #hojicha #hojichalatte #homecafe #ritual #farune
