When the time comes it will be the hardest goodbye.
As we sit here right now next to the ocean I wanted to let you know…you have been more than a DOG to me. You have been my home every where we go, you have made me smile like no other, you have been there to hold during the heaviest and darkest days of my life. I know no matter where you are in spirit I will still call out to you when I get anxious and scared. You rarely showed fear. You are so confident and strong.
I promise you this when you are ready to be at peace I will be strong so your soul can be free of pain and suffering.
Until then…I am so grateful you are still alive so I can smother you with kisses, hear your paws in our hallway and continue sharing new memories. But please know I will never forget the memories we have shared because they have been some of the best in my life. Thank you for everything. I love you deeply, Eaton. #belikeeaton
