- “safe bets” often have more risk than promised
- "gambling" is increasingly the only chance to move up
- younger people have information advantages in cultural markets

This isn’t just degeneracy, its cultural upheaval.

When “safe bets” no longer work, people will rationally chase riskier ones. The system taught us to gamble. It just never expected we’d do it on our own terms.

So are we witnessing a new cultural shift or a new form of survival?
