Two years sober today!

I took this same backyard shot one year ago (thank u @crazy_naizy lol) and posted it on a smaller private account. I was proud of myself but still scared to make this “announcement” to everyone. Since then, I’ve grown in ways I wouldn’t have expected. More than ever I can recognize my sobriety as my greatest blessing. Two years without drinking has meant two years free of mood episodes. It’s given me a new shot at life. And my favorite part is I get to share this journey with a community full of the best people I know! I am so grateful for everyone I have in my corner and to be excited about life today.

I share this because I have always wanted to be able to help others by sharing my story. I used to feel like no one else would ever understand what I’m going through and hadn’t seen anyone I could relate to who had gotten to the other side. Hopefully, by being open about what I’ve been through and where I’m at today, I can be that light for someone.
