💬 What was your first read of September? 🍂

This was mine, and it hooked me almost instantly! She Didn’t See It Coming is a twisty mix of domestic thriller, whodunnit, and police procedural. My first Shari Lapena, and I was locked in by chapter 2 🤌

When Bryden Frost fails to pick up her child from school, she is reported missing by her husband. Told through multiple POVs, everyone close to her has something to hide.

I loved how at the start, everything looks picture-perfect, but then as the investigation unfolds, the cracks show and every character gets a little messier. You’re basically part of the case, trying to sort through red herrings and shifting suspicions, which made it really addictive!

Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a one-sit read to binge!
