You saw me cross the finish line. But what you didn’t see was everyone I was carrying with me. 🥹🩷

When I crossed the @mtlmarathon Half Marathon finish line, proudly holding my Brave Together bandana, I wasn’t thinking about my time or my pace.

I was thinking about all of YOU!!!!!

Every conversation. Every story shared. Every hug. Every person who showed up, not just to run, but to remind someone else they weren’t alone.

This summer, I had the incredible honour of being a Maybelline Brave Together Ambassador, raising awareness about mental health, anxiety, and depression through something that connects so many of us:🏃🏽‍♀️ RUNNING

I came into this experience hoping to make a difference in someone’s life.

But I don’t think you realize just how much of a difference you made in mine💗

You reminded me why showing up matters, why even the smallest conversations can mean so much, and why we should never underestimate the power of being there for one another.

To every run club that welcomed me with open arms, and every person who ran alongside us, shared their story, listened, or simply showed up for someone else… THANK YOU🩷🩷🩷. You made this summer something I’ll carry in my heart forever.

And to @maybelline , thank you for trusting me to be a voice for a cause so close to my heart. My little heart is still processing what an incredible privilege this has been. 🥹

I may have been the one crossing that finish line, but this moment belongs to all of us.

This one was about the people who reminded me why I STARTED!

We really are Brave Together. 🥹🩷

A day on 8 with Ming-Na Wen

…

I spent a day walking around the East Village with my mom over the summer. She lived in the neighborhood in her 20s, at the beginning of her acting career.

This is part of a little pet project I’ve been working on called In Their Frame, which explores artists’ perspectives on both the professional and the personal in a setting that is meaningful to them. Hopefully, I’ll get to do more interviews like this soon.

The world is big, but I’ll always find my way to you
Until we meet again ♥️ Brazil & Mexico LMSY LOVE YOU!
