A week ago today, I was giddy and ecstatic to be heading to my first @lkbfstorytellers Latinx Storytellers Conference. From the moment I slipped on that lanyard (never been so excited about a lanyard before!), the event skyrocketed past my expectations.

I had the opportunity to attend excellent workshops on craft and publishing. I got to meet incredible writers and artists telling stories I can’t wait to see out in the world one day.

I’ve never felt so welcomed into a room full of passionate, creative people building community together. Thank you to the organizers for this impactful convening. I look forward to staying in touch with everyone until next time!
