I know content has slowed down, and I wanted to share why. As a Palestinian, these past few months have been unbearably heavy. The weight of what’s happening in my homeland is something I carry daily, and some days, it’s been paralyzing.
On top of that, the rise in anti-medicine sentiment online has been disheartening. I’ve been called things no one who’s dedicated over a decade of their life to caring for children should ever be called. Fourteen years of training, compassion, and service but only to be met with bullying and baseless accusations. It’s exhausting. The internet has given people the freedom to be cruel without consequence, and some days, it’s too much.
Between that, starting a new job, and adjusting to a long commute, staying consistent here has been a real challenge. But please know this: I haven’t stopped creating. I’m still writing content every day I just haven’t had the energy to film it (yet).
This space still means a lot to me and so do you: the ones who’ve stayed, supported, and understood. I see you, and I’m grateful.
