This wolf head (untitled) was made in tandem with the wolf from the previous post. Feeling out the tools and materials, getting limber and comfortable in the shop after a brief hiatus from the studio this past winter. I’ve never really made two pieces at once like this, bouncing back and forth from each. They influenced each other and resisted as well. Something somber and stoic revealed itself without full intention on my part. Allowing the process to guide me always reveals more than I could have imagined on my own. Follow the breadcrumbs in the studio and much can be discovered. 🪑🐺🪵🐺🪑🐺🪵🐺🪑🐺🪵🐺🪑🐺
