A wild find in an antique mall in Hamilton last week, with art by 3D-Man co-creator Jim Craig. The cover stock is the same newsprint as the interiors (with the exception of a colour insert on thicker paper). It’s from 1979, so the SW/Byrne & Austin influences are unmistakable. This is the first & last issue for ol’ Jason Monarch. No kings! by @paskettiwestern

The wait for Thanksgiving dinner led inevitably—as I’m sure it does for most families, right?—to reminiscences about Consumers Distributing and their wackadoo business model, prompting me to hunt through my phone for this strip I did a few years ago about the glory days of CD. by @paskettiwestern

Unbelievable (and complete!) $3 thrift store find today. Hillary won the first game, but like the rivalry between Cheers vs Gary’s Old Town Tavern, the battle goes on. 🍻 taken in Port Dover, Ontario by @paskettiwestern

I was able to scratch this white whale off my want list this week thanks to @comxguy. I have it in a paperback collection, but I’ve been after an original for years. I always forget that it was scripted by Steve Moncuse—creator of FISH POLICE, which feels right to me. You can definitely tell that this was a labour of love for Art Adams. by @paskettiwestern
