Pre-cancer spots can look like harmless rough patches, but left untreated, they can turn serious.

Fluorouracil (“chemo cream”) pulls hidden pre-cancer cells to the surface and treats them.

🧴 Apply to the whole area, not just a spot.
⚠️ Redness & scabbing = the medicine working.

✅ If you have a dry, scaly patch that won’t heal, see a dermatologist early.

Huge thanks to @mat5o for bravely sharing his journey and helping raise awareness.

Except this is sort of misinformation, because keratosis was never going to progress to melanoma. Right? Lets be honest. Pre-cancer, means NOT cancer, it doesn't mean half-way to cancer- like they want you to believe. Some of these before and afters look identical. Makes you wonder.

My mother is an obsessive sun-worshipper and has celebrated being Melanoma free and ending radiation/chemo 3 TIMES by going tanning.

But my dermatologist wants me to spot treat not apply it to my whole face. I’ve also heard other suggest that as well bc it can be so miserable for people.

Important to note here, he's out in the sun, under a non UV blocking hat. You can't be out in the sun while doing the treatment, even using sunscreen is not enough. Even after the treatment is complete, you should be extremely careful out in the sun for a minumum of 2 weeks, up to several months. SUNSCREEN REQUIRED, UV BLOCKING HATS REQUIRED. People are not compliant! This is likely the cause for his EXTREME reaction. The simple fact that this dermatologist didn't point this out in her video is the exact reason why we have such a healthcare crisis in the United States. I am not in healthcare and it's the first thing I noticed in this video. Be careful who you use folks!

If you blend the 5FU with Vit D cream, then instead of a global effect hitting all skin cells to make them so excoriated.. you turn it into targeted immunotherapy. Then it will only target the sun damage cells and non-melanoma cancer cells. Much less overall damage!! https://skincarewest.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/5FUC.pdf
