WEEKEND DIARIES: LIVING INTENTIONALLY
This weekend, at the @thenegrostradefair, I am reminded of what it means to live with "intentionallity," which means being conscious of the moments and people that shape the way we see the world.
I met a ton of incredible and inspiring people from the Visayas region. I would like to highlight two powerful women whose stories and advocacies serve as a reminder of what it means to truly live with purpose:
Ms. @art_of_arl_ : An artist who returned to her passion in her 50s, creating works that honor the beauty and spirit of her community.
Ms. @vida.bcd (@vivohandmade): A social entrepreneur who promotes decent work through the arts, making sure young people and senior citizens receive fair compensation for what they create.
Their stories moved me. They stirred a feeling of pagbabalik-loob—a strong feeling of coming home to the arts, and to the simple truth that living intentionally also means living consciously.
To sit with experiences like these, whether in a café corner, in conversations with strangers-turned-friends, or in the creativity of our people, is to recognize how connected we all are.
When we make space for what we love, we also make space for the world to speak back to us. May we find ourselves continuously blessed with more moments of clarity and inspiration such as these. Truly a great weekend full of love for the arts, our culture, and our people.
