This week the pendulum has swung from big work days to big moments of fun. I had a decade of denying myself of fun. It didn’t feel safe. I assumed that if I slipped off my path of discipline my whole world would fall apart. OCD took over parts of my life which made it hard to let go. But in my mid forties I’m allowing myself some fun. I still have a twinge of worry here and there but it feels a lot more balanced now. The self optimisation chat I often hear seems to be based purely on the aim of becoming the perfect, flawless optimised human who never veers off the track of self improvement. Sounds fucking boring to me. I also believe that we learn and grow the most after messy, challenging parts of life, not the ones where we are militant in how we live. Here’s to letting the messy bits of you free.

If you ever get into it with #50Cent, just know the media mogul is prepared to keep the beef going forever! 😩 Reacting to a report that #RickRoss’ son was allegedly p!stol-whipped by a man in Florida, 50 shared an excerpt from the story, writing, “D*mn got the man arrested, 👀why he didn’t just call his dad. He probably called the cops for him. LOL.” 50 then took things a step further, posting the accused att@cker’s mugshot and offering to cover his bail. “What’s his name, get me his info I’m bounding him out!” he added. According to reports, #RickRoss’ son, William Roberts III, was allegedly p!stol-whipped and threatened while standing on a sidewalk with a woman on Oct. 11. Authorities say a man identified as Don Roberts II pulled up in a gray vehicle and, at some point after exiting, pointed a g*n at William and threatened his life, allegedly saying, “I don’t care who your daddy is, I’ll k!ll you right here.” The suspect then reportedly struck William on the right side of his head with the fire@rm, leaving him with minor swelling. Despite the alleged a$$ault, William reportedly declined medical attention. Reportedly, investigators later presented William with a photographic lineup, during which he identified Don as his alleged att@cker. Police subsequently arrested Don on charges of aggravated a$$ault and aggravated battery with a de@dly weapon. However, he may have since been released on bond, as he no longer appears on the jail’s online inmate roster — meaning 50 might not have to step in after all. 👀 ✍🏾: @twilaamoure
A policeman allegedly intoxicated was accused of using abusive language against a woman near Heart Hospital on Jhalawar Road, as per reports. The alleged incident has raised concerns over police accountability and respectful treatment of women. Questions are being raised about what action should follow if the allegations are confirmed. Do you think strict action should be taken against the officer if the allegations are proven? 👇
