I FORGOT TO SAY THAT THIS IS IN JAPAN, specifically Tokyo, but no matter at this point.
This is for all of the 'konbini' enthusiasts out there. I agree that the konbini's (FamilyMart, 7-eleven, Lawson) in Japan have earned a devout cult following for myriad valid reasons.
The 7-eleven egg salad sammich isn't horrible and not particularly adventurous, but had heard from more than one source to give it a go, but go for the onigiri instead if you can. REALLY friggin' good.
