Join us in Cynthiana every Friday & Saturday in October for the Cynthiana Ghost Walk — a lantern-led stroll through downtown’s most haunted sites, led by skilled storytellers and ghost hunters. You’ll visit stops such as the Old Jail, a 1790s log cabin, the Seldon Renaker Inn, the Old Courthouse, and more — all brimming with local legends, unexplained noises, cold spots, and even EVPs captured inside the Rohs Opera House. 

Another walking tour, the History & Headstones Tour takes you into Cynthiana’s Old City Cemetery for a 60-minute walk among historic gravestones. Hear the stories of the people who shaped the town, enjoy eerie lore, and reflect under the moonlight among moss-covered markers.

• Ghost Walk: 60–90 minutes, includes interior visit to Rohs Opera House 
• History & Headstones: ~60 minutes walking through Old City Cemetery 
• When: October weekends, with tours starting at 7:00, 7:30, 8:00, 8:30 & 9:00 p.m. for ghost walks 
• Cost: $15 per ticket 
• Capacity & Sell-outs: Tours are limited in size and often sell out — book early 

The Ghost Walks have drawn visitors from over 30 states, with about 1,200 guests attending in 2024 alone.
