Prayer for Veterans Day.

I had the privilege of giving the benediction at our community Veterans Day ceremony. I thank all my fellow Veterans for your service. I thought I would share my prayer with you all:

Almighty God,
We lift our hearts in gratitude for the men and women who have stood watch over this nation. For every veteran who answered the call, who carried the weight of duty, and who served with courage that shaped the freedom we stand in today—may Your blessing rest upon them.

Grant them peace in place of the battles they have fought, strength for the days ahead, and honor that never fades with time. Surround their families with Your protection and remind them that their sacrifice is woven into the ongoing story of this country.

Teach us to be a people worthy of their service—citizens who choose unity over division, character over comfort, and service over self.

As we leave this place, send us out with grateful hearts and renewed purpose. May Your grace go before us, Your hand guide us, and Your love sustain us.

In Your holy name we pray. Amen. by @rohsopera

Just took this at the Boy scout Camp. You can see where this flood event crested compared to floods of '88, '10, and '97, which are marked on this building. We thank God it was well below those levels and our prayers go out to those that have been impacted a lot worse than us. by @rohsopera

Do you live for mystery, murder and mayhem?
Then join us for Solve It- The Ultimate Clue Experience on October 4th!

We will begin at Rohs Opera House at 6pm, where you will receive your Suspect list- will it be Ms. Scarlett in the Ballroom with a knife? Only time will tell.

Teams or individuals will then visit participating downtown businesses to locate their suspect cards to mark them off of their list-just like Clue!

Once you think you know who the murderer is, you will return to Rohs and turn in your packet. There you will find a photo booth, fun games for during the move and the showing of the Original Clue Movie featuring the one and only Tim Curry. The movie will begin at 7:30pm with winners announced at 7:15pm.

Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place as well as best costume. So dress as your favorite clue character for a chance to win!

* You must purchase a ticket to participate in the experience*

Tickets are available online at www.rohsoperahouse.com.
