Today, I am humbled as I reflect on God’s faithfulness and my nursing journey. It was a dream that began in 1996 at JUTH, Nigeria.
My father spoke this calling into my life, and my mother carried the baton, praying it through until her last breath last year.
I dedicate this Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner achievement🎓 to Bami, Emmanuel Oladele Akanji, and Mami, Ruth Mosunmade Akanji 😭🕊🕊
This journey has been one of faith and perseverance through many storms. Yet through it all, God has been faithful. 🙏🏽
To every girl with a dream, every woman balancing motherhood, full-time work, and school, I see you. I’m rooting for you!!💛
Give yourself grace.🤗
Take breaks.
Surround yourself with people who believe in you.
Prioritize your mental health. And remember, you are your best cheerleader.
To everyone who has lost a loved one or something dear, I see you too🤗❤️🤗
Pain is real, and grieving is sacred. Don't let anyone minimize your pain.
In the past year, I have learned the quiet strength found in solitude. It’s in those still moments when words fail and the world feels heavy that God whispers peace into our weary hearts.
Proverbs 18:14 MSG
A healthy spirit conquers adversity, but what can you do when the spirit is crushed?
To everyone who supported me, thank you!!
