There are influencers, there are founders & then there’s @matildadjerf. Few people have shaped the way an entire generation gets dressed quite like the Swedish entrepreneur behind Djerf Avenue. The signature bouncy blowout, the oversized blazers, the strawberry prints, the kind of effortless personal style that launched a thousand Pinterest boards. Somewhere along the way, Matilda Djerf became more than a person to follow. She became an aesthetic, then a movement, then a brand. Now, that world has a New York address. On October 3, Djerf Avenue opened the doors to its first permanent store at 25 Bond Street, turning something that began with a girl in Sweden sharing her life online into a place people can actually walk into. And for Matilda, who started the company at just 22, it’s about more than clothes on racks. It’s about giving the community that’s been part of her journey a place to call its own. Of course, we had questions. We caught up with Matilda to talk about bringing a little piece of Sweden to Manhattan, what her 22-year-old self would think of it all, the pressure to constantly reinvent your personal style & her idea of a perfect, completely unscheduled day in New York. Spoiler: It involves a very specific coffee order, a ham & cheese croissant & being home early. Read the article on fluentmag.com.
So perfect. Best steak frites - steak au poivre - I’ve ever had 👀 A well known spot for a reason, everyone was really nice and I left so full and happy hehehe the vibes were so classic I had to add it into the painting! Another page in my sketchbook heheh 🤭💕 Deffo call ahead to make a reservation cuz they are a really popular spot amongst both the locals and people visiting ~ 📍 Bistrot Paul Bert- Paris #foodillustration #steakfrites #paris #travel #sketchbook

🖤 LEAVE BLACK PEOPLE ALONE. 🖤 When I hear people say, “We are not our ancestors,” I want us to remember something important: Our ancestors were not simply victims of history. They resisted, stood their ground, fought for their freedom, and demanded respect. WE HAVE ALWAYS FOUGHT BACK. WE HAVE ALWAYS HAD A VOICE. We are our ancestors’ legacy, and remembering their strength is part of understanding who we are today. 📢 OUR PURPOSE & DISCLAIMER Leave Black People Alone is a platform dedicated to raising awareness, documenting real-world events, encouraging meaningful conversations, and highlighting issues affecting Black communities. Videos shared on this page are presented for educational purposes, public awareness, news coverage, and social commentary. Our intention is NOT to bully, harass, threaten, shame, or encourage violence against anyone featured in our content. We do not encourage our followers to target, contact, threaten, or harass individuals shown in these videos. Our mission is awareness, not harassment. Accountability, not hate.
