Made with sequoia dust collected from Comte’s sculptural process, these paintings turn matter into image — the dust imprinting its own history on the surface. The branching forms evoke subterranean networks and the electrical paths of lightning, pointing to organic and invisible systems of connection.
After five wonderful years living in Dallas, it’s a pleasure to continue to support such a vibrant arts community. Grateful to the DMA for including us in this special evening.
