There is a choose your own adventure vibe to this park. Hiking the backside of the painted desert inn worth the visit 10/10. Mineralized trees and logs are littered everywhere, exposed to the elements. Got chatting with another car camper on the trail, half way into his national park journey, showed me this petroglyph that i would have missed if i wasn’t looking. Camped at the Tucson BLM outside of Saguaro NP, this BLM is sketchy at best.
