2 months agoi would just check the wood and make sure there aren’t any sharp edges the betta might tear up their fins on! looks like there’s quite a few hazards there. wood does soften in water after time but i still would double check before adding someone with such fragile fins. it’s very easy for them to get caught on sharp corners and get confused for fin rot when the damage is actually caused by decor in the tank. also hopefully you gave time for the tank to cycle before adding all those friends in! shrimp also aren’t really recommended with bettas as they might nip at them or even try to eat them!
7 months agoHave you ever done the walstad method for a planted tank? I’m torn between using garden soil as my base layer or an aquasoil like this
8 months agoI love the driftwood! I’ve been trying to find wood for my new tank for my betta, I was wondering where you got it?
