This took ages to put together but it’s finally done! I wanted to try out a little concept comic hook for Threadbound to get a better feel on the art direction and vibes. This technically won’t be in the comic itself, but it covers the main murder mystery premise of the first chapter. This is the first mention of Patch, which is where the story takes place, and I’ve spent a long time fleshing it out. It’s a tight-knit small town stuck in a decaying 1950s aesthetic due to its declining economy. Despite that, the residents are very warm and welcoming. Everyone-knows-everyone kind of feel. I had a lot of fun coming up with the environments, and there’s a lot more in my drafts for specific locations that’ll appear in the comic - might get around to sharing those at some point.
