POSTS STORIES REELS

Meals are more than food......they are journeys, rituals, and stories.
Around a table, we celebrate victories, weather challenges, and weave memories that last a lifetime.
Every dish carries a culture, every flavor… a history. And when shared, a meal becomes a story worth passing on...
These are some of the storytellers who remind me of that truth....

Get in touch...to tell your story...

Stepping out of my kitchen means adapting, learning, collaborating and bringing a little piece of Napoli wherever I cook.

This time, into the kitchens of @joujoudubai at Four Seasons Jumeirah Dubai. 💙

Thanks @judedsilvaphotography @storyscape.uae for grabbing the best moments ✌🏼 by @storyscape.uae

We could have slowed down.
We’re still standing.

At a time when it would be easier to pause everything,
we’re still here.

Creating. Hosting. Bringing people together.

Last night in this villa wasn’t just a dinner.
It was proof.

Proof that no matter what happens,
we’ll keep doing what we love, with you.

Things are more complex right now, that’s true.
But your presence, your energy, your support
that’s what keeps us going.

And now more than ever, supporting initiatives like this matters.
Not just for us, but for all the chefs and creators
who live through their craft and keep showing up.

This isn’t just our project.
It’s yours too.

And we’re far from done.

We’re already working on the next date.
DM us for more information.

Thanks to

episode 2 of our passed down plates ramadan mini series is here! 🤗

this time, chef varun is joined by his mom, auntie namita, in the kitchen to recreate two dishes that take them straight back home: aloo tikki and mutton kheema tikki. a simple, comforting recipe they’ve shared for years, made together again around the same kitchen counter.

between stories, laughter, and a very obvious love for mutton, this one is a wholesome reminder that so many chefs’ journeys start right at home, learning, tasting, and cooking alongside the people who first showed them the way.

from their kitchen to yours.

and stay tuned for the recipe on our stories! by @storyscape.uae

What begins as a room of strangers slowly turns into shared laughter, stories, and curiosity about a culture that is small in number but rich in history.

Nights like this remind me why Bhonu exists — to open my table, share a little piece of the Parsi community, and leave people knowing just a bit more about who we are. @judedsilvaphotography thank you for capturing the essence of the evening so beautifully.

Our Passed Down Plates series continues with its second video, and this time Chef Varun is in the kitchen with his mom, Auntie Namita, preparing two dishes that remind them of home: Aloo & Dal Tikki and Mutton Kheema Tikki.

This week’s teaser is a little glimpse into the laughter and moments behind the scenes… and if you couldn’t tell, their love for mutton 👀

Stay tuned for the full video coming soon, more stories, family recipes, and the kind of moments that only happen when cooking with mom ❤️ by @storyscape.uae

We’re starting this Ramadan where it all begins: at home. Chef Judy steps into the kitchen with her mom, Auntie Nayla, to prepare three beloved classics: Kibbeh bil Senieh (baked kibbeh), Kibbeh Maqliyeh (fried kibbeh), and Kibbeh Mashwiyeh (grilled kibbeh). These are staple recipes shaped by memory, patience, and years of practice at the family table.

Behind every chef is a kitchen where they first learned to knead, season, taste, and serve. Family recipes aren’t just instructions, they’re foundations, shaping technique, instinct, and the love that carries into every dish.

Ramadan is a time of gathering, cooking side by side, and passing traditions forward, and that’s exactly what this series celebrates.

Welcome to Passed Down Plates, a limited Ramadan series honouring the mothers, the memories, and the meals that made our chefs who they are✨ by @storyscape.uae

Something special is cooking this Ramadan 🌙✨

Here’s a little teaser of what’s coming to your feed this Wednesday! 👀 Chef Judy stepping into the kitchen with her mom to cook a dish close to their hearts. A recipe shaped by memory, tradition, and the kind of moments that only happen at home.

Stay tuned for the full video, stories, laughter, and a beautiful reminder of what gathering around the table is really about 🏡❤️ by @storyscape.uae

Need a last-minute valentine’s day dessert? chef dragan got you 🤍
his take on krempita (balkan cream pie) is light, indulgent, and just the right amount of sweet, perfect to whip up for someone you love… or honestly, just for yourself.

just in time for tonight, save this, try it out, and let dessert do the talking ✨

Ingredients
500 g puff pastry
Custard cream
1.6 l whole milk
9 eggs (large – I used XL)
300 g sugar for the egg mixture
100 g sugar for whipping the egg whites
200 g flour (half all-purpose, half cake flour)
(the original recipe says 180 g, I used 200 g)
20 g vanilla sugar (2 sachets)

White cream
500 g whipping cream
½ tablespoon powdered sugar

For dusting
2 tablespoons powdered sugar

prep notes:
bake puff pastry sheets until golden. heat most of the milk to boiling, mix the rest with yolks, sugar, flour, vanilla + rum, then slowly whisk into the hot milk on low heat to make the custard. fold the hot custard gently into whipped egg whites, let cool, top with sweetened whipped cream, add pastry on top and chill until set (overnight if possible). by @storyscape.uae

Skip the roses, skip the clichés.
This Valentine’s, Chef Dragan is flipping the script with an Anti-Valentine’s dinner, no pressure, no gimmicks, no cheesiness. Just bold Balkan-Mediterranean flavours, great food, and even better company.

If you’d rather celebrate real connection over forced romance… this table’s for you🖤

gulfood 2026, the world’s biggest food show, took over dubai this year, with thousands of exhibitors, innovators and flavour makers from across the globe gathered under one roof 🍽️🌍

in the midst of it all, we had some unforgettable live moments: chef kuv brought his infamous coconut tres leches cake to life on stage with a live cooking segment that had everyone watching, and chef dragan delighted the crowd with his pulled-apart bread with cheese and rosemary, a signature dish taken straight from his supper club table into the gulfood demo kitchen🔥👨‍🍳

we also joined the supper club panel, featuring chefs like chef kuv, dragan, madame vo, nida, jonathan, and our co-founder kevin vaz, talking supper clubs, experiences, and the future of food from the splidu perspective 🎤🍷

from hands-on cooking to big ideas about dining and experience, this year’s festival was a snapshot of where food, craft and community collide, and we’re just getting started!
